4/8-4/12

Dear Parents,

I'm so excited for the field trip on Monday! I know we will make great memories just getting to be outdoors together. I'm a bit blue about the idea that we only have 5 weeks of school left, so I hope to treasure every moment.

Please remember to pack a snack, water bottle, and lunch for your child on Monday. Students may wear a comfortable uniform top, spirit shirt, and shorts to be extra comfortable.

I'm looking forward to this week!

In Christ,

Mrs. Poncy

Important info:

Reading: Use these classical books as ways to build stamina and to engage with your child as they read. I love hearing their thoughts about what they read in our reading groups M/W. It's one of my favorites times of the day.

Math: We will have a Math assessment on Wednesday covering measurement, and graphs. Like always, these kinds of questions come directly from the same format as the textbook reviews and practices.

Grammar: We are almost finished with the FLL book! Next week, I'll begin introducing Shurley Grammar in class to get them a little bit warmed up for 3rd grade.
