Fortis Second Grade Tues/Thurs 5/8-5/11

Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for all the beautiful flowers and yummy treats and gifts this week! I was super encouraged by all of you.  I want to thank all of you for being so diligent and supportive this school year!  Your children have grown not only physically but also spiritually, emotionally AND academically! It has been my honor to serve them and be their teacher.  God has blessed me with this last year of teaching in the classroom with an amazing group of children.  I have chosen not to return to Fortis next year so that I can focus on building my Life Coaching business and returning to homeschooling my 13 year old daughter.  Thank you for your prayers as our family makes this transition.

*Please note: This week I did not hand out a math fact packet.  A few students had some missing  or incomplete packets in Alma. If you would like to turn in an extra packet this next week and have your child get a makeup grade for that --please turn in a completed packet Tuesday or Thursday.  You are welcome to print addition or subtraction fact tests off the internet (any one will do just make sure there are 3 tests stapled together and graded).
Also, we are done with our spelling books so those can be left at home.
Spirit Day is this coming Thursday!  It will also be Field Day and the Free Dress fundraiser.
