4/29-5/3

Dear Parents,

4 more school days left! I know many of you co-teachers (and the kids) are so ready for a summer break! Well, the end is almost here!

This week, we are finishing our Singapore Math curriculum. Next week, students will be given an end-of-year Math assessment on Monday 5/6 covering all the skills we have learned in 2nd grade. The reviews we are doing this week will be important to do at home, because they review everything we have learned so far.

I have so enjoyed this school year, and I'm really going to soak up these last few days with your child.

In Christ,

Mrs. Poncy

Important info:

Science/History Journals: Science and history journals will be due on 5/1. Please make sure all responses are present in the journal. I will return these (along with your child's diorama) next Monday.

Memory Work: Just a friendly reminder the Asia map is due this coming Monday, 4/29. Also,  I have decided to assess the "Holy, Holy, Holy" hymn as a group this year since it's apart of our end of year performance at our assembly.

Space Dioramas: Everyone did such a great job on the space dioramas! Please take a moment and walk through the foyer to see what an amazing job 2nd grade did!
