Dear Parents,
I know with Spring break coming up in a month, it's easy to look ahead and just be ready for a nice long break, but we can do this! It reminds me of Galatians 6:9, ("
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.") I hope everyone has a wonderful homeschool week, and I am personally praying for warmer weather and MORE sun! :)
Blessings in Christ,
Mrs. Poncy
Important Info:Math: This week I have included Learning Task numbers in the math lesson box so you know to only do those questions in the textbook pages! This is explicit in the HIG, but I wanted to include it in the plans. Please see my email about our new unit on money we are starting. Also, we are skipping quite a few multiplication and division reviews, but we will spiral these in. We have to move on or we will not finish our Singapore math curriculum before end of year.
Spelling Support: This week we are focusing on the
ed ending. If you would like to support your child in spelling even more, you can have them read OPG 214, which will give them an opportunity to read that suffix in written text.
