2/10-2/14

Dear Parents,

We had so much fun last week in school and have been enjoying talking about all the different space rocks and how are they alike and different. Our memory work has been in full swing, also, as we are continuing to work on our 2nd quarter poem and the next set of Catechism questions. We have been talking a lot during Bible that Jesus is our Priest, Prophet, and King!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day off on Monday!

Blessings,

Mrs. Poncy

Important info:

Reading: Please make sure your child reads the assigned reading from Knights of the Round Table on homeschool days and please have them bring this book to school on Wednesday, February 13th. Thank you!

Science: There will be a short quiz on Wednesday over the 5 different space rocks. This is the main info I want them to know from the Space Rocks chapter.

Math: As emailed earlier, student need to set up their bar models correctly and to write statement sentences and unit equations on each word problem. Thank you for your support in this to cultivate this discipline that will get them ready for multiple step word problems in 3rd grade.
