Discipleship Objectives:

Math Objectives:
    • Continue reviewing multiplication and division facts for 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10
    • Describe and continue a pattern based on two attributes of color, size, orientation or shape
    • Understand area
    • Measure and compare area in square units

Composition Continue to monitor your child's letter formation and the quality of their handwriting. We will continue practicing cursive in class together this week. They will be writing in cursive in 3rd grade. Let's get them prepared.
Reading: We have finished our OPG. Please review any of the lessons that your child is still struggling with.

Spelling: Please work on the rules and check that your child understands them. Be sure to check your child’s
weekly spelling test, and REVIEW the rule if your child struggled with it. Also, please place spelling in your child’s
binder EVERY week.

Science:  We have finished our space unit for the year. We will be reviewing and having some fun with different experiments for the remainder of the year.
Geography: Asia song and map can be found here on the main blog curricula/geography page. Assessment for second grade will consist of point to correct location on a map, and saying/singing names.
History: We only have 1 history card left!!
