Hi Families! (Updated 3/2/29 see Reading Assignment Changes --we will do an extra day of OPG Lesson 229)This is the week we have St. Francis of Assisi Day on Thursday. We will be doing extra activities for this. If any of you have styrofoam egg cartons that you can send in (we will need 3-6 of them). Please send them to school on Tuesday. We will also need brightly colored chalk and a few kid friendly hammers or mallets to pound the chalk into powder to make paint. These will be returned to you after we use them on Thursday. Thank you for anything you can donate for this special day.
Students will also be able to bring a stuffed animal to school on Thursday. Please make sure that it is a likeness of a real animal (ex. Noah's ark :) ) . We will be blessing the animals like St. Francis did. A photo of a family pet will also work or they can bring both and we will bless both :).
