Dear Parents,
I wish you could have seen the excitement on the students' faces last week when we did the earthquake demonstration in class! We are so excited about the upcoming week, because we'll build a volcano on Monday!
This week, we are introducing a new virtue, faith. I found it fitting, because Constantine legalized Christianity in AD 313, despite the odds surrounding him. The persecution of the Christian religion, or the war taking place in Rome could have derailed him, but it did not! He moved forward in total confidence and expectation that God was behind him and with him! I'm praying that this history lesson would take root in a deeper way in the students' hearts, and also this week as we study the many heroes of faith in the Bible.
I'm so looking forward to another great week!
Blessings in Christ,
Kelli Poncy
