Comprehension Question packet for Knights of the Round Table due Monday 3/22. Please remove from binder, staple and put in front pocket to turn in.
Students will need their Francis, the Poor Man of Assisi this week during class.
We are starting fractions this week. There will be no formal assessment over money, but we'll continue to review adding and subtracting money in class.
History-This week we are studying the plague. In class we will be focusing more on how the plague affected the way people lived during that time as well as how the plague was eventually treated and not as much on the actual sickness. I thought that content might be a little too sensitive for the young students given the "culture of illness" in which we currently live in and which the students are all too aware. Having said that, please skim Tuesday's lesson before reading it with your child-the way the sickness is described is a little graphic. Please feel free to skip that lesson if you don't feel like it's appropriate. Thursday's reading, while still about the plague, talks more about the impact of the plague on the way of living at that time and should be fine for them to read.
